Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains how the Owais Qadri Naat Lyrics application (formerly "Ubaidi Naat Lyrics", same app, package com.ubaidi.naatlyrics.app) collects, uses, and protects information while you use the app, and how advertising is shown within it.

The application does not require account registration and does not intentionally collect personally identifiable information such as:

- Phone number
- Home address
- Contacts
- Precise device location
The app is designed so users can browse, search, stream, and read Naat lyrics without providing personal information.
Advertising & Google AdMob
This app is monetized using Google AdMob, a service provided by Google LLC that displays advertisements within the app. AdMob and its partner ad networks may collect and use certain information to serve ads, including:
- Advertising ID (a resettable, non-permanent device identifier)
- Device type, operating system, and general technical information
- Approximate location (derived from IP address, not precise GPS)
- App usage and interaction data related to ads (e.g. impressions, clicks)
Personalized vs. non-personalized ads:
Depending on your region, consent settings, and device preferences, you may see personalized ads (based on interests inferred from your advertising ID) or non-personalized ads (based only on contextual information, not your ad history). Where required by law (such as under GDPR or similar regulations), a consent prompt will ask for your preference before personalized ads are shown.

You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads
at any time from your device settings:

Microphone
The microphone permission (RECORD_AUDIO) is used only for the Voice Search feature. Your speech is converted into text locally for searching Naat lyrics.
- No audio is recorded to a file.
- No audio is stored on our servers.
- No audio is shared with third parties.
Internet
Internet access is required to:
- Load updated lyrics
- Retrieve database updates from Firebase
- Stream and download MP3 Naats
- Display advertisements via Google AdMob
Notifications & Foreground Service
Notifications and the media playback foreground service (FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK) are used to continue audio playback and show playback controls when the app is minimized or the screen is locked.
Storage
Downloaded MP3 Naats are stored locally on your device for offline listening. The application does not upload your downloaded files to our servers.
Firebase Services
The application uses Google Firebase services to provide:
- Database updates
- Application resources
- Cloud storage for application content
Firebase may automatically collect technical information such as device type, app version, crash diagnostics (if enabled), IP address, and usage information according to Google's Privacy Policy.

Users may download MP3 Naats for offline listening. Downloaded files remain on the user's device and are never uploaded to our servers.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. Information is shared only when required by law, or through the normal operation of the third-party services described above (Firebase, Google AdMob).
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect application data. However, no electronic transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
Children's Privacy
The application is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Advertising shown through Google AdMob is configured to follow Google's policies on child-directed treatment where applicable.
Changes to this Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. Any changes will be posted on this page together with a revised effective date.
